Chilli Spiced Dark Hot Chocolate
Warming, molten chocolate with an added kick of heat from the chilli, this is what winter is all about! In this recipe we’ve used dark chocolate sweetened with coconut sugar (Ecuadorian Arriba 75% Chocolate Couverture Drops), however if it is your preference, you could use a good quality dark chocolate such Lindt.
- Heat for 6 mins or so until just starting to boil, set aside for 10 minutes to infuse.
- Sieve the milk into a clean pan and discard the cinnamon and chilli. Continue to heat gently, not allowing the milk to boil.
- Whisk in the chopped dark chocolate and heat gently until the chocolate melts.
- When well combined and frothy, pour into two mugs and serve!
