Mega Brown Rice Breakfast Bowl
Oats aren’t your only option for a whole grain breakfast. Brown rice makes a surprisingly good porridge and takes on sweet flavours really well. This breakfast bowl packs a real energy punch, great if you are very active or are losing too much weight from eating clean. If you don’t require quite such a hearty breakfast then make half of this recommended portion.
- Add all of the ingredients into a saucepan and mix well.
- Heat over a medium hob for 10 minutes until the apple has softened and the mixture becomes thick and fragrant.
- Garnish with slices of banana and flaked almonds.
- Serve immediately.
