Citrus Sunshine Smoothie

This clean-eating green smoothie is zesty, tangy and lively. The smoothie takes only a few minutes to make and creates a large, hydrating drink full of vitamins, minerals and fibre.

 

HEALTH BENEFITS OF CITRUS FRUITS:

As well as being a good source of vitamin C, citrus fruits such as lemons, oranges and grapefruits are an excellent source of potassium, folate, calcium, riboflavin and B vitamins. Citrus fruits also contain phytochemicals such as liminoids, flavonoids and carotenoids which help to protect against cancer, heart disease and other chronic diseases.

Method

  1. Remove the outer peel from all of the fruits.
  2. Place all of the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
