Indian Spiced Green Tea Latte
This gently aromatic, green tea latte recipe is like a hug in a mug. A delicate infusion of green tea, cardamom and bay leaves, this steaming hot drink is a deliciously different way to take advantage of the benefits of green tea. Dairy-free.
- Pour the almond milk into a milk pan (or a heavy based saucepan that won’t burn) with the cardamom seeds and the bay leaf, and bring it to the boil.
- As soon as the milk starts to bubble, turn the heat down as low as it will go and allow the milk to infuse for 10 minutes.
- Turn the heat off and add the tea bag to the milk. Give the milk a stir and then set aside for 5 – 10 minutes, depending on how strong you like the flavour of the tea.
- Remove the seeds and the bay leaf, and serve in a heat proof glass or mug.
