Clean Snickers Smoothie

We all need a chocolatey treat every now and then, don’t we? This clean eating snickers smoothie has the chocolate, caramel and nut flavours of a Snickers bar, but no refined sugar or additives. Each ingredient used also contributes nutritionally towards your good health. The frozen bananas give this smoothie a thick, ice cream milkshake texture. Top with crushed peanuts and a few dark chocolate drops for a deliciously clean treat.

The bananas and dates in this smoothie provide complex carbohydrates and fibre, while the peanut butter contributes protein and fat to help keep you satiated and full. This smoothie does still fall squarely into the treat category, so should be consumed as an occasional treat, rather than an everyday staple, especially if you are trying to lose weight.


  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until silky and smooth.
  2. Pour into a glass and if desired, top with crushed peanuts and dark chocolate drops (you can buy clean, dark chocolate that is sweetened with coconut sugar).
