Iced Green Tea with Lime & Mint
Add a refreshing twist to your green tea by serving it over ice with a twist. Perfect for a sunny day, or to keep you hydrated and healthy while at work or on day out.
- Put 4 highball glasses in the freezer to chill.
- Add 750 mls of boiling water to the tea bags in a heat proof jug or tea pot and allow them to steep for at least 5 minutes (up to 10 minutes).
- Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool at room temperature for half an hour, then refrigerate until ready to serve.
- When you are ready, transfer the tea into a serving jug (or use the jug it is already in). Squeeze the juice of 1 of the limes into the green tea. Slice the remaining lime and add to your serving jug with ice cubes and some fresh mint leaves.
- Serve and enjoy.
