Iced Green Tea with Lime & Mint

Add a refreshing twist to your green tea by serving it over ice with a twist. Perfect for a sunny day, or to keep you hydrated and healthy while at work or on day out.

  1. Put 4 highball glasses in the freezer to chill.
  2. Add 750 mls of boiling water to the tea bags in a heat proof jug or tea pot and allow them to steep for at least 5 minutes (up to 10 minutes).
  3. Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool at room temperature for half an hour, then refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. When you are ready, transfer the tea into a serving jug (or use the jug it is already in). Squeeze the juice of 1 of the limes into the green tea. Slice the remaining lime and add to your serving jug with ice cubes and some fresh mint leaves.
  5. Serve and enjoy.
