Kale & Green Apple Smoothie
This green smoothie is refreshing and a nutritional powerhouse. A perfectly healthy, clean-eating start to the day. This smoothie recipe is filling enough to be enjoyed as a mid-morning snack or as a breakfast meal.
- Add the coconut water and the kale to your blender and blend on high until the leaves are well broken down.
- Add the apple, banana and lemon juice and blend until smooth.
- If you prefer a thinner consistency, add water to thin the smoothie out.
- Optional – If the smoothie is to be a breakfast replacement, add 1 tbsp of chia seeds and 1 tsp of coconut oil.
