Matcha Green Tea Shooter

Green tea powder provides a multitude of health benefits, including anti-cancer activity. This clean-eating green tea shooter recipe is perfect for a super healthy start to your day or just as a delicious drink. Made with banana, almonds and kale, this dairy-free shot packs a mighty nutritional punch.


  1. Put the banana, almond milk and kale in a blender.
  2. In a small mug, dissolve the green tea powder in a couple of tablespoons of hot water. You can skip this step but your shooter might taste a little chalky.
  3. Pour the dissolved green tea solution into your blender with the rest of your ingredients.
  4. Blend on high until there are no lumps left in the smoothie.
  5. Pour into glasses.
